SEIZED GERMAN SHIP
USE BY UNITED STATES
WASHINGTON, October 15.
The Maritime Comm?{ssion announced that it will lend to t!&e War Department the former German vessel Amerika, which was seized in 1917 and which has been laad up. Officials that the vessel is suitable for use as a transport and will be renamed the San Francisco.
