Makara Club. —The official' opening of the Makara Tennis Club took place last Saturday. There was a large gathering •of players arid their friends. The president,' Mr.' H.W. Watson, spoke of the progress -made 'during the last season, and expressed a wish that; the club would continue' to' prosper.
