Among the sixteen acceptors for the Nursery ; Handicap at Masterton tomorrow there is ,only one horse that s has yet been in the money, Erin's Court, but ten of .them have still to make their debutYunder colours. Erin's Court is.;a Gainscburt-^—Queerly colt, a full-brother to Colleen Gain and Earl's-.Court, and his form is promisr ing. as he : was third behind Saint Tor and Tetfratiija in the Hastings Stakes and second behind Par Avion on the final day at Hastings.
Four of the ten unraced horses are members of T.. R. George's team. Lord Defoe (whose name originally appeared as Defiant) is a chestnut colt by Defoe out of the Paper Money mare Lady Sal, whose dam was-half-sister to Sasanof, and he is bred on the same cross as Defaulter. Corn Prince is a bay colt by Iliad—Corn Queen, dam also of Fiord, and he will carry the same colours as Ruling Star. Dungloe, who will race in the Dungarvan and Duncannon interests, is a bay filly by Inflation—Kilcannon, hence a full-sister to Duncannon. Olein is a chestnut filly by Leighon—Rachel, hence a halfsister to Rabbi, Kozan, and Frimsel, and she is owned by Mr. J. G. Donald, of Featherston, who bought the dam some time back.
Drake's Drum, owned by Mr. F. Armstrong, is a grey half-brother by Theio to Admiral Drake and Francis Drake. Saka Bona, who was bought by the Treritham trainer A. Goodman at the January Sales, is a black colt by Lord Quex —Tudor Wench, closely related to Essex. Miner's Hope is a bay colt by Croupier—-Gold Vein, a half-sister to Bayacre, and he is in L.,:G. Browne's team. Lady Boswal, a member of H. B. Lorigan's stable, is one of the first offspring of the Solario horse St. Boswells, being a chestnut filly out of the Taunaha mare Walkina, from the Kinnoull family. Merry Fox, who will race in the Night Eruption colours, is a brown filly by Foxbridge—Merry "Way. Transfusion, owned in Woodville by Mr. S. Campbell, is a bay filly by Sporting BloodPrincess Nata, hence a half-sister to Gay Mimic and closely related to Grand Sport.
