Thh shows the, remains of the first German bomber brought* doivn in the heart of London. It fell just outside Victoria Station, doing a lot of damage to adjacent buildings. The sergeant pilot who brought the bomber down had to bale out of his own damaged Hurricane, and landed safely. ■ Left, part of the bomber which fell in Victoria Station (shown above) fell some distance away, on top of another building.
