The fishermen's case was supported by the New Zealand Seamen's Union, whose members refused to sail in ships carrying ' ifi ih to Nelson, and also the Nelson TTaterside Workers' Union, thus p-eventing the local merchants fiom securing supplies from other ports.—P,A. .
