STOP PHESS 7" FISH FOR NELSON. ~~~ Nelson. —A dispute between the HVelson Fishermen's Union and a local wholesale firm with respect to the prices paid to the fishermen has now been settled, the agreement being signed yesterday. For nearly three weeksNNc r S')n has been without fresh fish o l account of the fishermen's decsi on to ship all fish caught to ."Vellington as a protest against tl..e refusal of the firm to raise p.-ices. The fishermen's case was supported by the New Zealand Seamen's Union, whose members refused to sail in ships carrying ' ifi ih to Nelson, and also the Nelson TTaterside Workers' Union, thus p-eventing the local merchants fiom securing supplies from other ports.—P,A. .
