OAMARU WOOLLEN DIVIDEND.
A net profit of £9566 for the year ended September 19 is shown in the accounts of the Oamaru Worsted and Woollen Mills, Ltd. Gross earnings were £56,758, and the net profit is struck after providing £29,500 for taxation and £3237 for depreciation. From the amount of £2998 brought forward there was paid an interim dividend of 3 per cent, taking £2550. This left £448, making with the year's net profit a sum of £10,014 available for distribution. The directors recommend a final dividend of 3 per cent, and a bonus of 2 per cent, and the transfer of £2501 to reserve, leaving £3263 to be carried forward.
