5 PER CENT. RISE
WATERSIDERS TO BENEFIT
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Waterside workers throughout New Zealand will receive a 5 per cent, increase in wages, as from tomorrow, by an order issued by the Waterfront Control Commission.
The order makes effective for watersiders the 5 per cent, rise recentlyawarded to other workers by the Arbitration Court's general order.
