JAPANESE AIR RAIDS

CHUNGKING, October 7.

According to the latest estimates 300 persons were killed and 500 wounded in yesterday's bombing raids on the suburbs of Chungking. Chengtu reports that 120 were killed and 500 wounded as a result of raids on Friday and Saturday. The victims included students at the Central University Medical College.
