MORE POWER TO THE R.A.F.

REPORTED NEW PLANES

LONGER-RANGE MACHINES

LONDON. October 6

The "Daily Mail" says that powerful new bombers are now being produced in great numbers and that an amazing new long-range fighter is likely to be used in the immediate future of a greatly intensified offensive over Germany.

The range of the new bomber, ii is stated, will enable pilots of the R.A.F. to "sit over" Berlin much longer than they have been able to do hitherto, while the new fighter, which is a really astonishing machine, will enable the Royal Air Force to carry out daylight raids over the English Channel during the winter.
