Central Press Photo. Wreckage of a Junkers dive-bomber which hit a house and fell into the street when shot down in a South of England town recently. The house was fortunately unoccupied. Top right, this shelter, despite the fact that there is not a military objective within miles, was riddled with machine-gun bullets by an enemy bomber flying low.

"Evening Post" Photo. The gutted premises of Max Studios, situated on the top floor of a city block in Wakefield Street, alter a fire which broke out shortly after 2 o'clock this morning.
