MISSING AEROPLANE
SEARCH ABANDONED
The air search for the Oxford aircraft and its crew of three, who were reported missing on Monday of last week on a flight from Hobsonville to Ohakea, was abandoned at 7 p.m. on Saturday. "hi: announcement was made yesterday by Air Headquarters, Wellington. Since Tuesday an extensive but unsuccessful search has been carried out bj' machines of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
