In the English Trophy Association football match, Wellington (chaliongcre) C beat"Auckland 3.

The weather and ground were perfect. Auckland f&orcd after three minutes. Boblnsoa crossed for A. Francis to net. Wellington now took a, turn and Walker scored 20 yards out. Immediately Walker scored again from close in. Wellington dominated play, and Hatehard scored a clever goal from 25 yards out. At half-time the score was Wellington 3, Auckland 1.
