LARGE STAFF OF VOLUNTARY HELPERS

A.N.A. Club officials stated this morning that the attendance of men of his Majesty's Forces at the dance on Saturday night was not as large as usual, but that when the men at Trentham were given leave from camp the numbers would be considerably increased. To the casual observer Saturday's crowd was considerable; Friday's dance was, if anything, even more popular, and on Sunday and during the week, the club's new premises in Willis Street were well patronised by soldiers, airmen, and sailors on leave. Wilson, J. Tredray. and Misses N. Hanna V Richardson. M. Hempton, P. Barnard, V. Neely. D. Puttick, H. Allan Sheen, O. Pollock. P. Gledhill, P. MacDiarmid, D. Harris, Laurenson. L. Benge. and D. Mazengarb. Dancing on Friday was Controlled by Miss Denise Puttick and Miss Patsy Ashbblt was in chargt on Saturday. Others who helped the executive on those days were Mr. and Mrs. A. Longmore, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Clay, Miss Sybil Nathan, and Mesdames J. M. A. Ilott, A. B. Smith, Eichelbaum, H. B. Craighead, D. J, White, Harry Atkinson, L.-Blundell,-Erie Clere, and W. Millar, and Messrs. R. Blackley, B. E. Bailey. W. HanJey. C. S. Loughlin.- J. Hewitt, and J. C. E. Turner.

A supper, hamper' from Hie Dannevirke W.D.F.U. was a welcome contribution -to the club's larder.
