PERSONAL NOTES
Mrs. B. J. Jacobs and Mrs. J. A. Grant, Palmerston North, visited Wellington on Saturday to meet their sister, Mrs. H. Palmer, of Blackpool, and her two sons, who have arrived from England. Mrs. Palmer and her boys will stay in Palmerston North 'for the duration of the war.
Mrs. T. D. Burnett, "Aorangi." Cave, South Canterbury, is visiting Wellington.
Mrs. G. C.'Breen, Napier, is spending a holiday in Wellington.
Mrs. H. Schneideman is visiting Christchurch to attend the Christ's College sports.
Mrs. D. O. Williams, Wellington, who has been the guest of Mrs. H. E.
Whitehead, Palmerston North, for a fortnight, has returned home.
Miss-Jean Paterson, elder daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel and Mrs. T. Paterson, Ngaruawahia, who has been nursing in the Public Hospital, Auckland, will leave for Suva this month where she will take up her duties as Charge Nurse in the Suva Hospital.
Miss H. Smillie, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. S. J. Campbell, Epsom, Auckland.
