Mr. Albert Fishburn, of Petone, who this week was presented with the Royal Humane Society's silver medal for saving the life of an elderly man off the Petone foreshore on April 28. The presentation was made by the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, who is vice-president of the society.
