LONDONERS' LEAGUE
A second and successful meeting of Londoners was held in the Legion of Frontiersmen Hall on Thursday. Londoners from all quarters of Greater; v London met and talked together for the first time in their colonial history. - At least three people found old school pupils whom they had not seen since school days. What the meeting may have lacked in orthodox procedure was amply atoned for by the enthusiasm of those present. The London spirit cer-. tainly prevailed, especially in the community singing of old favourites. Amongst these "Let s All Go Down the Strand" vied with "Pack Up Your Troubles" for popularity. The league is greatly indebted to Mr. A. B. Natusch. for his organising help. Over 90 people were present, and' they kept the hon. secretary. Mrs. Harrington, and the treasurer. Mr. Weim, very busy during the evening by enrolling for the ensuing year. The president, Mrs. K. C. Cresswell, w&s presented with a posy of London pride. The league was presented with a fine picture of their Majesties, and a cushion was presented to' help in the raising of funds for th« home town folk.
