SUNDAY PICTURES.
At the Paramount Theatre tomorrow night an attractive double-feature programme will be screened. "Where the West Begins" is an'action romance with Jack Randall in the leading part. The Six-Bar-B cowboys are featured in several musical numbers, and others in the cast include Luana Walters, Fuzzy Knight, Arthur, Housman, Dick Alexander, Ralph Peters, Bud Buster, and Kit Guard. Song hits introduced are "Born to the Range," "Down the Trail of Dreams," ■ "I'm in Prairie Heaven," and "That's My Idea," In addition to this exciting romance there will be screened "Variety; Parade," a story of events at the Encore Hotel, where screen stars, stage stars, aift radio stars congregate. There are'big scenes, big laughs, and catchy tunes. Amongst the performers are Mrs. Jack Hylton's Band,* Harry Tate, Noni (the musical clown), Melvin (comedian), the Radio Three, the three Nagels, Nat Gonella with his Georgians, O'Gorman brothers, the Corona Kids, the Sherman Fisher Girls, Teddy Brown, and Archie Glen. Proceeds are for the funds of the Artillery Band. Patrons can obtain reserves by telephoning Paramount Theatre (51-842) after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
