TENSION ON THE BORDER

TOKIO, October 3,

The Bangkok correspondent of the "Yomiuri Shimbun" says that there is tension on the border between Thailand and Indo-China. Fifty Thai planes on -Tuesday reconnoitred the north-eastern border, and the Thai Government has warned against trips in Indo-China at present.

It is said that the Government is pressing the Vichy Government to send representatives for the demarcation of the frontier.
