SUBSCRIPTIONS TO WAR FUNDS

RUGBY, October 2
Subscriptions to the 2£ per cent, national war bonds during the week ended October 1 totalled £10,942,360, the National Savings Committee announced, making £228,837,335 since June 25.
The amount received by the Treasury during the week in the form of loans free of interest was £507,679. The loans now total 9027, the amount being £191,017,299.
