Nearly 1000 tons of waste paper and cardboard have been collected by llford's 70 dustmen. This has produced a sum of £1015, and the men are to get a bonus of £3 12s 6d each. It has been revealed that the oysters were among the chief sufferers from the bitter frosts of the past winter in Europe.
