LONDON, November 14.
The British freighter Matra (8003 tons) was. lost as the result of an explosion at sea.
The captain, the pilot, ten officers, and 40Xascars were taken off by a lifeboat, which made three trips to the vessel. 7 -.'■,.-■' .■-..7-7 y-
