Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Price returned to Wellington this morning from a visit to England. Mrs. Price is staying with Mrs. J. B. Price, Karori. Mrs. Norman Beetham, Masterton, is a visitor to Wellington and is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Nicholson and Mrs. A. Nicholson, Wellington, have returned home after spending a holiday in Nelson as the guests of Mrs. H. Perry. .Miss Margaret Nelson, Timaru, has returned home from a visit to Auckland and Wellington. Miss D. Govan, who has been appointed headmistress of Selwyn House, will leave England for New Zealand in December, and will take up residence at Selwyn House hostel, Papanui Road, Christchurch, at the .end of January or early in February. . Miss Violet A. Roche, of the. Australian National Travel Association, Sydney, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at Sayes Court. Mrs; E. By Mabin, Karori, who since visiting her mother, Mrs. E. C. Kelling, Nelson, has been spending a few days in Christchurch, left for Wellington last night, accompanied by her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. arid Mrs. K. Mabin. Mr. and Mrs. Maunsell are Masterton visitors to Wellington, and are staying at the Midland Hotel. i Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Grange, Christchurch, left yesterday for a holiday trip to Picton and Wellington.? Ninety-four delegates from all parts of the Dominion are expected in Christchurch today to attend the annual conference of the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union. Mrs. W. Mawson (Auckland), Dominion president, will preside, and other office-; bearers of the General Union who will ■ attend'will include Miss E. Campbell (secretary), Miss Abercrombie (minute secretary), and Miss Hutchinson (treasurer). These officers are all from Auckland. Mrs. J. Featherston, Miss Featherston (Sydney),: Mrs. Schofleld (Matamata), Mrs.. Kukar (Hawera), Mrs. S. Bardwell7 (Gisborne), -Mrs. Maunsell (Masterton), Mrs. .Stead, Miss M.. Campbell'(Hastings), Mrs. N. Beetham (Masterton), Mrs. H. Harrison (Nelson), and Mrs. C. Castle (Dannevirke) are 'guests at; the Midland Hotel. Guests at the Royal Oak Hotel include Mrs. G. Fraser (New* Plymouth), Mrs.' L. G: McClurg (Napier), arid Mrs. S. A. Madden (Masterton). <~-,-• Guests at the Hotel Waterloo include Mrs. E. Oi Warburton (Feilding), Mrs. D. Parsons (Waitotara), Mrs. F. Armstrong (Akitio), Miss Hunter (Waiorie); Miss Heaps (Nelson), Mrs. F. de Launey Munns (Christchurch); Miss S. Paul (Wanganui), Mrs. F. (Gore), and Mrs. E. Davis (Auckland). 7 Miss '-'A.
