FOUNTAIN A SHOW
The spectacular feature of the Exhibition last evening was the splaying of the big fountain in Centennial Avenue. Towards dusk the light southerly which had fanned the grounds during the'day. fell away, leaving a still,; mild evening, and visitors who entered the Kingsford Smith Street entrance were greeted with' a sight of extraordinary beauty arid grandeur.l Added ;to " the majesty of the usual scene, with the pylons, tower; and other' lighting effects, were the gorgeous. ,: moving colours of the fountain. :The new moon added an unexpected tbttch of beauty, for a while. .
