COCOA SUPPLIES FOR BRITAIN
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 12. The Colonial Office announces that it has undertaken as a war measure to purchase the whole of the 1939-40 crop of British West African cocoa and also has undertaken to offer to purchase maximum quantities of cocoa produced from the Windward Islands and Ceylon. These quantities are to be based on the normal shipments to the United Kingdom in past seasons.
