Soloists engaged for the massed choirs' performance of "The Messiah" 6arly in December are as follows: — Soprano, Miss Gwenda Weir, Auckland; cbntralto, Miss Molly Atkinson; tenor, Mr. Ray Trewern; bass, Mr. James Leighton, Auckland: The performance will be in the. nature of a Centennial celebration and ;the choirs will be from the Royal Sydney .Philharmonic Society, Auckland Choral Society, Hamilton Philharmonic Society, and the New Plymouth Choral Society, also the Royal Wellington Choral Union. The chorus and orchestra will number 450. Mr. Stanley Oliver will be conductor
