(Daventry Broadcast.) LONDON, Sunday Night This evening's French communiqut indicates that the efforts by .the Ge*.^ man infantrymen on the Western Front during the day were unsuccessful. By all accounts the French had no difficulty in holding up the German raids. Heavy weather has been responsibly -" for comparative inactivity in the air.
