THE WOMEN'S SECTION
The Pioneer Hut and the Pioneer Room in the women's section of the Exhibition have excited the greatest curiosity and admiration, and keen interest has been shown in the section generally. On Saturday the crowds were several deep around these two outstanding exhibits, and the secretary of the section, Miss Doreen M. Walsh, reports tlie satisfaction of the promoters at the attention given to it.
The lecture and entertainment programme in connection with the women's section will be carried oh' Tomorrow afternoon and evening.-. . At 3 o'clock Miss Anne Stewart will deliver a homecraft lecture on "Colour in the Home," and in the evening the work of New. Zealand women poets will be surveyed by Mrs. Craig McKenzie, in a lecture recital, "Here are : Verses," illustrated by items by the Wellington Verse-Speaking Choir of 36 performers, chosen from various verse-speaking groups in the city. x
Since the opening, more than. 2000 people have climbed the stairs of the Centennial Tower, from .the top of which one gains a magnificent view. Those who have braved the rather formidable climb from the ground floor have declared the pilgrimage well worth, while.
