I • On Friday next, "the Knights of the Road" will hold their annual street day to provide Christmas" cheer for children in homes and orphanages, a proportion of the proceeds to go to the Commercial Travellers" and Warehousemen's Blind Soldiers." and Sailors' Fund. Since the inauguration of the fund, £9686 has been distributed for Christ^ mas cheer, and the Blind Soldiers' Fund has benefited to the extent of ££2350 including £100 ior literature for the blind. The public of -Wellington City and suburbs are asked to give these two worthy objects every practical assistance. Art union tickets will be sold throughout the city. , Members of the association and the club, and particularly their lady friends, are requested to hand in their names, as assistants, to the secretary.
