AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

The annual Wellington amateur provincial billiards championship will commence tonight, under the auspices of the Wellington Billiards Association, at Billiards Ltd. showrooms. At 7 D.m. two ex-champions—W. N. Tucker "and S. M. G. Simpson, will meet, and at 8 p.m. S. Moses, New Zealand and Wellington champion, will meet F. Harding. Tuesday's games are as follows: 7 p.m., Butters v. Corn; 8 p.m., McMillan v. Sim.
