PRETTY. NIGHTDRESS
FOR THE HOME DRESSMAKER Here is an easy way to make a nightdress which even the dressmaking beginner might attempt to make. It is absolutely straight from top to hem; a narrow effect at the waist is achieved by rows of shirring, which is so very fashionable just now. The top is made by a picot-edged band of material which ties in a charming bow at the front. This nightdress looks most effective if two colours are used, such as pastel blue with petal pink, pale green with peach, ivory with sky blue, blue with orchid, and so on.
