Prices are unchanged. London advices for the week ended July 22 indicated that an endeavour to maintain butter at high levels had been unsuccessful. There was a continued lack of spot inquiry- Total imports of butter for June were 51,584 tons, the highest monthly import ever recorded. The higher retail prices for butter tended slightly to check public consumption.
