HUIA 111 TOO GOOD

Huia 111 played a bright game against Huia I, at Naenao, but were unable to match their opponents' all-round experience and sound tactics. Generally they did well to keep the score down at 4-2, but at stages Huia 1 took matters too easily. Huia I opened the scoring shortly before half-time with two crisp goals by Bliek and Jackson. Dentice added another goal early in the second half. Williamson scored Huia IH's first goal from a penalty bully, and the same player added another a llttlo later. With the older team leading by only one goal tho game became interesting, but just on time Kelly made the issue definite for Huia I by scoring thir fourth goal.

The umpire was Mr. C. Gardiner.
