A SERIOUS TASK

GERMAN FOREIGN TRADE

INCREASING COMPETITION AND BOYCOTTS

QUARTERLY REPORT

(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.)

(Received July 29, 10 a.m.)

BERLIN, July 28,

The quarterly analysis of the German Institute of Business Research declares that foreign trade is "facing a serious task" because of increasing competition and boycotts. Nevertheless, it is not true that the nation's industry has reached the limit of production.

Despite difficulties, there has been a notable improvement in trade with Rumania and South Africa.

Manchukuo has agreed to import £10,000,000 worth of German merchandise next year.
