ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
Yesterday Parliament was one big query- Right from the commencement of the session members have been asking questions, and Ministerial
. -*plies to a considerable accumulation of these were presented for consideration. . Whether members liked, the answers or not they remained the same, and some were so abbreviated that they left little room for comment. Others, however, gave a considerable amount of information. Questions concerning the "Lee Letter" were in the former category, the answers being "No." Among the questions that provoked interesting answers were several on defence, a subject that has been debated on frequent occasions during the present session. Apart from questions, the other major business transacted was the setting up of select committees to enable the normal legislative course to proceed during the remainder of the session.
