The Galileo, a small fishing smack, which has been picking up timber thrown over the side of the Port Bowen. On her way back to Wanganui on Tuesday the engine went wrong and the boat was dashed on one of the moles and lost her bow. The two men on board got ashore safely. Yesterday the Galileo became a total wreck when she was smashed up on the beach.
