MR. H. FRANKLIN

The death occurred recently at is residence, Northland, of Mr. Harry Franklin, at the age of 67 years, after a sudden attack of pneumonia. Born in London, Mr. Franklin arrived in Wellington 65 years ago, with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Franklin, in the sailing ship Conflict. Although of a quiet, unassuming disposition, he was an ardent worker in the Labour move-, ment, and as a committee member of the Northland Home and School Association. He is survived by his wife and daughter (Mrs. F. W. Smith), one grandson, and four sisters.
