HASTINGS, This Day.

Extremely cold conditions in Hawke's Bay during the last three days have prevented much of the snow that has fallen from melting, and various districts,, particularly central areas, have had the almost experience of a three-day blanket of snow. Wairoa today suffered the worst, snowstorm for twenty years. Some stock losses are reported.
