All ports are keeping watch for Scan Russell, who is reported to be, en route to Europe from America with £ 12? 000, which be collected from sympathisers. He is not travelling under l*i« own name. :
If he lands in France he WiU receive unsympathetic treatment, and if he : larfds in England he will be arrested. A large number of members of. the Irish Republican Army returned to Eire yesterday to avoid being registered and photographed under the provisions of the new Bill. They hope to reenter the country later undetected.
