STRUCK BY BUS

(By Telegraph Press Association.) j DARGAVILLE, July 3. j A tragedy occurred this morning on j the new main highway between Maungaturoto and Whangarei, when a Public Works Department employee, Mr. Paddy Dally, aged about 56, was killed instantly. The accident occurred at about 11 o'clock near Spelling's Camp, about five miles from Maungaturoto, where Mr. Dally was working on the road. IA bus travelling towards Auckland apjproached as Mr. Dally was working, iand it is understood that Mr. Dally I received a fright, and. a second or two j later, was struck by the bus. He rejceived severe head injuries, and died immediately.
