WIMBLEDON TOURNEY
MALFROY IN MIXED DOUBLES
Austin, Riggs, and Cooke, three of the seeded players, won their matches in the fourth round of the men's singles at Wimbledon on Saturday, as also did Kukuljevic. In the second round of the men's doubles the New Zealanders Brown and Gunn were eliminated by the famous French veterans Borotra and Brugnon in three sets, the second of which went to 9-7. In another match the German Davis Cup pair Hinkel and Metaxa were put out by the Americans McNeill and Smith. Survivors of the third round of the women's singles included Misses i Marble, Jacobs, and Jedrzejowska. The New Zealander Malfroy and his partner,. Miss Nuthall, who were seeded third in the mixed doubles, beat a strong Yugoslav pair in two advantage sets. (Received July 3, 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 2.
