THEATRICAL LIFE LEFT

After having been associated with theatrical life for half a century, Mr. Walter Brooke-Taylor has retired. He was with the Wellington Opera House Company, J. C. Williamson, Ltd., and latterly J. C. Wiliamson Theatres Ltd.

The staff met Mr. Brooke-Taylor on Friday evening to say farewell and wish him happiness in the future. In the absence of Mr. H. Stringer, who was indisposed. Mr J Donaghue said how much they all regretted having to part with Mr. Brooke-Taylor after so many years of happy association. On behalf of the members of the Grand Opera House staff of J. C. Williamson Theatres, Ltd.. he made a presentation to Mr. Brooke-Taylor.
