Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for June 23 being shown in parentheses: — Cotton—Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 5.62 d a lb (5.66 d); August delivery, 4.86 d a lb <5.02 d). Rubber—Para, 7 3-8 d a lb (7§d), plantation smoked rubber sheet, B£d a lb (same). Jute—July-August shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £22 7s 6d a ton (£23 ss). Linseed Oil—£27 5s a ton (same). Turpentine—33s a cwt (33s 9d).
