WINTER SWIMMERS' RACE
The annual race, over fifty yards, for the winter swimmers over 60 years of age, was held at Te Aro Baths today. Competition was for a cup subscribed for by regular winter swimmers at the baths, and the race' was won by Mr.- F. Anson, who is 76 years old. The race was held in pouring rain with the temperature, of the water at 53 degrees. Results are as follows: Mr. F. Anson (scr), .1; Mr. F. W. Vosseler (41sec), 2; Mr. K. O. Hale (36sec), 3; Mr. W. Waters (40sec), 4.
