MAORI CONCERT.

To raise funds for the proposed Wellington. Anglican Cathedral a concert will be given in the Town Hall, Wellington, tomorrow and on Wednesday nights by members of the NgatiPoneke Young Maori Club. An attractive programme will include old and new songs, spectacular action songs, hakas, and graceful poi fiances. In addition to choral items, solos will be sung by Miss Weno Tahiwi, Otaki. who achieved outstanding successes during the recent tour of the Waiata Maori Choir to Great Britain, which included a performance before their Majesties the King and Queen at Buckingham Palace. The choral items will be conducted by Mr. Kingi Tahiwi. The president of the Ngati-Poneke Mission Society, Lady Pomare, will speak from the platform.
