Between 200 and 300 women of the Feilding district resppnded to an in-vitation-to attend ,a meeting to consider1 aspepts of the Social Security Act,: when the speakers were Mes.dames T. H. Barrer and Millerj.of Masterton. A few "noes" were recorded when a motion was put to the meeting finding "totally unacceptable the Social Security regulations" and supporting the opposition of the B.MA. to the scheme. There was also a resolution approving of the setting, up, of a representative delegation to: the Minister of Health to set out the viewpoint of theiwomen of New Zealand. , v
