SEAMEN ARRESTED

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day,
Twelve seamen alleged to be concerned in a hold-up of the motor-vessel Cape Horn at Lyttelton were arrested early this morning and appeared in court later., They were, charged that on' June 26 at Christchurch, having signed on articles of the British ship' Cape Horn at Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, they were absent from^the vessel without leave at a time when the vessel was due to leave Lyttelton, and refused to return to the vessel.
All the men pleaded not guilty and were remanded to Monday. Bail was fixed in each case at £100, with two sureties of £ 100, v and the men were ordered to report twice daily to the police v .'.■;■.■•' . '
