ANNUAL MEETINGS
KELBURN CLUB
The annual meeting of the Kelbu'rn Bowling Club was held in the club's oavilion recently, there being an excellent attendance. : Prizes and trophies won during the 1938-39 season were presented by the newly-elected president, Mr. C. W. Nielsen. It was- decided to enter three teams j in the senior pennant competition and; one team in the junior pennant com-] petition. The club competitions will! be played under the same conditions as i last year, except that three bowls will be played instead of four in the pairs competition. j It was decided that the club's dele-! gate to the "Wellington Centre should j propose that the senior pennant com-j petition be divided into two groups, A and B. the former being the senior grade open to four rinks only from any club. Officers were elected as follows:— President, Mr. C. W. Nielsen; vicepresident, Mr. W. H. Long; hon. secretary. Mr. J. E. Widdop; horil treasurer, Mr. F. E. Wright; green superintendent, Mr. A. J. Wicks; committee, Messrs. R. R. Scott. W. Hay-1 Mackenzie. J. Pears, J. M. Hutchinson; games manager, Mr. F. S. Pope; selection committee, Messrs. F. S. Pope, W. Spence, A. J. Wicks; hon. auditor, Mr. W. E. Arnold": delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. Hay-Mackenzie; trustees, i Messrs. T. Gray and H.A. Parkinson;] billiards and social committee, Messrs. j J. M. Hamilton, K. C. Morpeth, L. J. Watkin, J. M. Hutchison, J. E. Widdop, G. Wilson, and K. Henry; official reporter, Mr. F. Wilton.^
