DANCE FOR VISITORS
NATIONAL DAIRY ASSOCIA-
TION
I A special souvenir programme hand- j somely printed and made with an entire spare page at the back for autographs was given each guest who attended the National Dairy Association staff dance in St. Francis Hall on Thursday. The occasion was specially organised during the visit of delegates from both the North and South Islanc and was attended by over two hundred and fifty people. A verse, each line beginning in sequence with one o: the letters of the word "Greeting," oc cupied a large part of the programme and offered good advice as well as best wishes for the visitors and their escorts. Iceland poppies decorated the hall, and were also arranged in the supperroom, where savouries and cakes were arranged buffet-fashion. Items were given by Miss D. Bradstock (impersonations), Mr. L.. H. Eskrigge (Maori songs), and Mr. E. Millar (songs). Among those present were the chairman of directors, Mr. A. Morton (Egmont Village), Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brown (Ohau), Mr. J. G.
