The membership of the Wellington Rotary Club, as at May 31 last?, was" 133, states the annual report. The average attendance for the year was 74.4 per cent., which was a slight increase over that for the"previous year. Forty-five luncheons were held during the year and several social functions. "No major activity has been carried out during the year," the report states. "The Christmas appeal, yielding £200, was devoted to the Otaki Health Camp, and charitable organisations in Wellington benefited to the extent * £240 from the funds of the club. More important than club activities, however, is the service that can be rendered in public and community affairs by individual Rotarians, and the direct tors feel they can confidently claim that the members in general are 'not lacking in service to the community.
