HUTT UNITED BEATEN

In spite of a strong northerly wind oh Saturday afternoon, the two women's hockey games played in the senior, division were both bright and interesting. T.O.G. created a surprise in beating Hutt United, and their second team played a good game against College Old Girls. University and Training College defaulted against Ngati Poneke and Hutt Valley respectively. An unusual occurrence took place in a Senior B game at Karori Park when the umpire, Mr. I>. Harewood, ordered a Karori West player off the field for continuously questioning his decisions.

The scorea in the senior A matches were :— C.O.G. 5, T.O.G. (2) 0; T.O.G. (1) 3, Hutt United 0.
